Abstract

This essay thoroughly studies the last stage of Virgilio Piñera Llera’s dramatic production and the biographical and political context in which it was written. This is to be done by means of the study of El trac (1974). It is highlighted the image of a dynamic Piñera in his work as playwright. So, he was able to adapt and melt the main worries that had been the core of his work till that very moment.
