Aproximación a la emigración española a la provincia del Chubut: los yacimientos petrolíferos fiscales (1915-1933)

La ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia, enclavada en la actual provincia argentina del Chubut, se convirtió a comienzos del presente siglo, y con motivo del descubrimiento en la zona de importantes yacimientos de petróleo, en un destacado foco de atracción de inmigración. A través del análisis de YPF, la empresa más influyente de la zona, observamos la importancia jugada por la colectividad española en este proceso, así como su carácter de inmigración no especializada tendente a ocupar los empleos menos reconocidos en la empresa.
